Dr. Haoyue Sun earned her Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese and Integrative Medicine from Anhui University of Chinese Medicine. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and received her Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the renowned Five Branches University.
With extensive experience in various treatment methods, Dr. Sun has successfully treated patients with a wide range of conditions, including pain-related issues, fibromyalgia, digestive disorders, facial paralysis, gynecological conditions, infertility (supporting IUI and IVF), hypertension, weight management, eating disorders, and sleep disorders. She has also helped numerous patients achieve successful pregnancies. Dr. Sun is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Board of Medicine to practice acupuncture in both Virginia and Maryland.
In her free time, Dr. Sun enjoys spending quality time with her dogs and exploring nearby states on short sightseeing trips. A passionate foodie, she loves discovering and experiencing diverse cuisines, often going out of her way to visit unique dining spots.
Hye Sung Kim oversees the operations and management of the clinics. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and holds licenses from the Board of Medicine in Virginia and Maryland. With a background in culinary arts and business management, she earned her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine (VUIM) and is currently pursuing her Doctorate at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.
Hye is skilled in addressing a variety of conditions, including emotional and mental health challenges, pain-related issues, male and female health concerns, and digestive disorders. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities, such as bodywork, Tui-na, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, and acupuncture, to provide comprehensive care and relief for her patients.
A true food enthusiast, Hye enjoys cooking for her family and exploring new restaurants and cuisines in her free time. She lives by the principle of the golden rule: "And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them" (Luke 6:31).
Colombia Medical Mission
Eun Woo Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Yonsei University in South Korea and is a registered nurse in the United States. She earned her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed to practice acupuncture in Virginia and Maryland, Eun Woo combines her extensive background in healthcare with a holistic approach to patient care.
With years of experience, Eun Woo specializes in treating pain-related conditions and emotional health issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and stress along with other conditions. She is deeply committed to the philosophy that true healing requires a balance of physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.
Eun Woo demonstrates her dedication to serving others through annual medical mission trips, providing care to underserved populations in countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Chile, Kenya, Tanzania, and Bangladesh. Locally, she remains devoted to helping individuals restore health and happiness within her community.
An animal lover at heart, Eun Woo enjoys spending her free time walking with her golden retriever, Joey.
Chae is a nationally certified practitioner with credentials from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensure from the Virginia Board of Medicine. Her practice embraces an integrative, whole-body approach to healing, offering effective and personalized therapies tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Chae is known for her compassionate care and exceptional skill in addressing imbalances through traditional acupuncture, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling. Her goal is to help patients achieve optimal health by reducing inflammation, improving metabolism, and promoting overall wellness. Her clinical expertise spans a variety of specialties, including pain management, gastrointestinal health, women’s health (hormonal and menstrual regulation, fertility, pregnancy support, postpartum care), emotional health (stress, anxiety, depression), and metabolic concerns (weight management, insomnia, edema, headaches, and skincare), with a focus on enhancing the overall quality of life.
Chae holds a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from James Madison University. Her approach combines the best of Eastern and Western medicine, honed through an internship with Dr. Choo and Dr. Hon Lee, a former U.S. Marine combat veteran and world-renowned TCM practitioner. During her internship, Chae gained valuable experience working with patients suffering from chronic pain, infertility, and chemotherapy-related side effects.
Outside of her practice, Chae enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her young daughter. She is passionate about yoga, exploring nature, traveling, and giving back to her community.
